Business Challenge for the University of Law.
University of Law students spent the evening getting to grips with the business simulation Lawn Trimmers. The students formed teams to run a company manufacturing and selling Lawn Trimmers. Choices had to be made about the size of factory and production quantities and then about incentivising both retailers, to sell the products, and customers to buy the products. We had 7 Companies competing for customers all trying to get a good return on capital employed.
Charles Russell Speechlys supported the event with Catherine Drew one of the partners attending with two of the firm’s trainees to act as mentors for the students.
